YEIDA’s plan to launch a residential plot scheme in the new year has not materialized. The first week of January is almost over, but the scheme is still stuck with RERA. The land on which the plots are to be allotted has been purchased from farmers, but it has not yet been registered in YEIDA’s name.

Plan to Launch 973 Residential Plots
The Yamuna Authority had decided in December to launch a scheme for 973 residential plots. Of these, 755 plots were to be allotted under the general category, while the remaining plots were reserved under categories including the farmer quota and the quota for allottees of operational industrial plots. The allotment was to be done through a lottery.

The plots proposed under the scheme are located in Sectors 15C, 18, and 24A. These include: 476 plots of 162 square meters, 4 plots of 183 square meters, 4 plots of 184 square meters, 481 plots of 200 square meters, 6 plots of 223 square meters, and 2 plots of 290 square meters.
